The Grass PistolsThe GRASS PISTOLS (Ex-Country Saloon) is a Russian Bluegrass band from Nizhny Novgorod. The band plays a hard drive Bluegrass style. Most of their compositions are original. They took part at numerous bluegrass and country events in Russia and abroad. In 2006, 2007 and 2009 played at European Bluegrass Festival that was held in La Roche sur Foron (France). In 2008 they gave several concerts in Tennessee, USA. In 2010 and 2011 they spent a year touring in different states of the USA and took part at the IBMA conference in Nashville in September, 2011.

Mikhail Dushin: banjo, lead vocal, song writer.
In 1989 started to play in the band as an upright bass player. Since that year he is a constant member of the band. In 1990 tried his first steps in mastering banjo and started to compose his first music pieces. Today the GP's repertoire basically consists of material written by him.
Tatjana Pechenowa: mandolin, vocal.
Graduated Nizhny Novgorod conservatory as a domra player (domra is a Russian folk instrument). Since 2006 she has played in the band when she discovered bluegrass music and a new instrument for her. Takes a very active part in arrangements and also tries her hand in composing.
Dimitriy Pechanowa: bass guitar, vocal.
